Issues Response Teams
Once community issues are identified, an expert team will be assembled as an issues response team.
A specific issues response team might include architects, landscape architects, civil engineers,
public administrators, and others if the community needs to focus primarily on design issues.
In this case, team leadership might be provided by the Carl Small Town Center at MSU.
Similarly, if the community focus is more on business retention and expansion, a specific
team might include expertise in economics, management, logistics, entrepreneurship, and
other disciplines. Team selection is based on the needs identified by a preliminary visit
with community leaders and specific expertise available to address those needs.
